Commander Hawkeye ... First figure for my Tau Project.
Still bluetac'd, needs green stuff work, filing down, magnetising, and basing. Not to mention painting!
Waistline concept borrowed from Lt. Walke at "Work in Progress".
Jetpack work from the Crisis II concept drawings.
Comment and Critique welcomed.
I think it's very nice, dynamic pose, and the sleekness of the torso really fits the overall look. Did you use a Forgeworld battlesuit? I'm guessing yes, because that looks like resin.
Chief Inspector Dreyfus: Are you wounded?
Clouseau: No. Fortunately I was saved by the darkness.
Chief Inspector Dreyfus: So what we need is more light.
I love the pose. I'm so sick of the normal dull battlesuit poses.
GREAT JOB. Can't wait to see the final product.

Wow.:w00t: Thats probably one of the coolest crisis suits Ive seen. I love the jetpack. Are you sure you dont want to mount that on a bigger base? He looks like he might fall over. Darn, now I have to find my jaw that I just dropped.:shifty:

Soldiers of the Forge Worlds!
Wow, that is a nice battlesuit. Isn't that the preetiest looking forge world battlesuit I've ever seen. Congrats. And, paint it nice, too.
If terrorists ask you "Do you have a bullet through your head?" say proudly, with dignity, "No, I do not. Go fish."

nice posing too, very natural and fluid, not overly 'heroic'
Great suit you have there, love the pose, as already stated, not overly heroic. Alot of people make their suits in "I R SAVE J00!11!" poses, but your is really one of those "When I pull the trigger, you die. K?" poses. I hope you know what I mean, I barely do. Anyways, great jorb there, paint him up nice .

Nice, and it looks like he's on a Star Trek Holodeck to boot!
And may I say welcome to LO.
Be sure to keep us posted and I look forward to seeing him painted.
PS Are those plasticard vents on the back?
