I've had this thing painted up for quite a while now but I just flocked the base yesterday and took a picture today. I want to know what you think of it, how I can improve and any other comments, questions, etc. I know it's not highlighted and the picture is a bit blurry, but it's not like all the pictures on these forums are the sharpest photo's either
Just tell me what you think, constructive critisism is appreciated, Thanks!
maybe paint the head white or something, to make it stand out. some details should be added, like the lenses and stuff. other wise its painted rather well. the burst cannon looks a bit messy though and looks kind of bad.
yeah I was thinking of repainting the burst cannon because silver IMO looks kind of bad with the rest of the cleanliness of a tau color scheme. Also, if by lenses you mean the "eyes", so to speak, of the battlesuit, I did paint them, you just can't see it in the photo because of the darnkness combined with the angle.
Thanks for the feedback!
PS. What do you guys think of the base? I really like the way it looks although it's kind of hard to see in this pic. The rock was really fast to make and IMO looks very cool.

Nice tidy piece, constructive crit would be look at trying to get some depth into the base colour, area highlights are good to bring it to life as at the moment the green looks quite dull and flat, doesn't need to be anything to harsh, just nice and subtle.
I'm not keen on the metal burst cannon barrels either. They look blotchy and patchy, and i don't like the tau using metals either, personal taste really.
