I was going to ask this question in the dreadnought thread just below, but didn't want to hijack it. I'm thinking about getting a dreadnought for my army, but don't want to use the same old weapons that comes with the GW made one. So if I buy the dreadnought from the GW store, can I use some of the arms and weapons from FW? Will they fit? The ones I want to use are the Inferno Cannon, found here
and this arm
I'm also thinking of creating a huge hammer to replace his close combat weapon, it will do the same thing but will just look better ya know.
So can I use the GW made one or should i just buy the dreadnought body from FW?
If you get the Mark V inferno cannon and rock drill arms you should be set. They are made specifically to fit the current plastic GW dread. However, you should seriously consider getting a FW dread body, they are very cool (then you need the mark IV arms instead).
Thanks, all I needed to know I guess ordering a dread and the arms from FW would be easier, would get it in one shipment and its cheaper then buying a dread from GW.
