Well here is my first Chosen marine for my new Chaos army, he isn't quite finished but he is 90% done!
I will post more shots of him once he is finished and more from the squad as I get them done!
I have the fluff for the army which i will be posting in a couple of days for you guys to have a look at!
I have added the rough draft of the "fluff" please let me know what you think?

Are these the evil spiders you have announced?
He looks even better than I imagined these guys to be! Why does he only have 6 legs?
Or do you count his "ordinary" legs as well?
The scheme looks great! The purple contrasts the bone coloured areas and the flesh very well. Though I imagined some kind of poisonous spider scheme it fits your Guys' "style".
What did you use to build the spider legs?
What do do the insignia look like?
Is the helmet build form GS or is it a special helmet, if the second's true, which?
Yeah... I'm very curious!
Just one thing for other conversions like that: The pattern of the upper legs may look even better if you cut a depression into the leg and fill it with the GS for the pattern.

Nice conversion there. I wanna see more pictures.
Yes they are my Arachne Marines, the fluff and background will be posted in a couple of days!Originally Posted by Hekau Chasut
Yes his two normal legs count towards his eight legs!
He is part of my chosen so I have given him Daemonic Speed to represent the legs and also Strength which is why I have used the bare arms to show the muscles.
The Army insignia is under construction but will have... yeah you guessed a spiders web in it hehehe!
The legs are made from tooth picks and GS, I will post some more pics of him from side and back once he is finished but his back is all GS and hairy ewwwww!
The other marines in the squad will have better coloured spiders legs/body which I will be taking from piccys of spiders I found in a library book I have that I borrowed in 1988 whoops can you imagine the late charges on that?
Because I am old I have lots of "old" models and he is an old mark marine which comes solid but without arms, they made all the marks of marines like that back in the day, I will post some conversion pics of the other models later this week also the Daemon Prince who is a Centaur style spider man thing beast eeeeek!
Sweet Jesus! Love the model
Please, convert more like that! What are the planned conversions for the other Chosen?? Just spiders? NO PRAYING MANTIS?

I'll go out on a wild goose chase here if you don't mind.
That is both a great paintjob, and a great conversion.
I have a Mk 6 that had an accident with gravity and failed it's saving throw thus it now has no head but I am going to use this as my Chosen champion.
The Mk 6 armour is nice and plain so I can add lots of nice GS work to it and a full on spiders head, I want it to look a little like the original 1950's version of "The Fly"
but a spiders head of course.
I have a full squad of ten suits of Mk 5 in that model so I have already started the others, I will post some of the conversion work later this week.
Any spider colour schemes you guys can think of would help a lot!
The next one will be painted in the black widow colours of black woth a red pattern.
quality work mate, does this mean we're actually going to get a game soon?
Who is that?
