Second SOB tank this week - Custom Immolator

    Hello,

I am glad that people liked my Exorcist. Thanks for all the good and constructive comments.
Here is a picture of my Rhino/Immy for your viewing pleasure. The Rhino was done a long time ago, but this week I scratch-built this MultiMelta Immolator turret from Russ turret, MultiMeltas, credit card and some random pieces and parts of actual spruce

Painted just today to match the rest of the body and make it look "Sororitas".

    THX

    looks great
I could almost argue that the turret is too big for the tank, but it still looks good, and it's definately imposing.
I do wonder how a modded Chimera turret would have looked though

Probably better but none of my friends had one. Even the Russ turret was not easy to get and it was meant to look scary and to take away fire from my Exorcists

I quite like the big turret. It gives the tank a very blunt, no-nonsense look i.e very tanky.
No more NG spearmen, thanks! Now I need some pump-wagons!

The Leman Russ turret was a creative touch but I think the multi-meltas could have been cut shorter before gluing them on.
Come to think of it, the turret itself could sit lower. It looks a bit awkward as it is.
And over there we have the labyrinth guards.

I also wanted to have the MM mounted side-by-side and very short first, but decided to do something more drastic. I bet either way they would look cool. As to the turret being too high - those ornametal windows (observation ports) on the hull of the Immolator body stick out quite high and I needed to raise it to be able to twist the gun around...

But if I get another turret from someone (maybe a Chimera this time) I might try to do it the other way
