Hi, i just got my hands on a unit of black knights and 60 skeletons
I have started by assembling the horses of the kngihts and i have primed them in black, i have drybrushed one with bleached bone and it is ok yet looks a little messy. Should i drybush a very light coat on skull white on the top? And would dipping it make it look better?
I jsut need general tips for painting skeletons really
any help greatly appreciated
Probably starting with a codex grey coat over the bones, possibly dry brushed, then bleached bone, then skull white in sparing amounts. These can even be mixed a bit, 1:1 on successive, thin coats.
Leaving the recesses dark and and the more superficial areas brighter will give the model a sense of depth.
Awesome thanks. I jsut tried that on my horse and it looks exactly like the one in the photo thanks v much
