    Wolf Lord and Retinue

Hi guys, finally back over here after a long long absence. I am sure i registered ages ago, but anyway, long story short...
New minis on the go for me all set for the next Campaign weekend at Warhammer World hosted by the Tempus Fugitives (http://www.tempusfugitives.co.uk/)

As one of the task forces is a Sons of Russ army, and my original 5k points worth has seen many a better day from when I first started it many moons ago when my painting skill was to be honest rather poo, it was time to start afresh with the new plastics and some forgeworld kit!

This is the leader of the task force Wolf Lord Kyrl Grimblood, and Wolf Guard Retinue alongside his Drop Pod. Still plenty more to get painted up!

    Cheers
    KG

Those Forgeworld models are one of the sweetest things they have ever released. Great paint jobs, keep it up!

I really like the shoulder pads. Well done.

    Really, really nice.
If I had to be critical (which I probably should try to be), I don't really like tha fact that you've used (almost) the same head on both models with assault cannons, it kinda makes them look a little weird, like he's been cloned or something

But, that minor, minor quibble aside, they are beautiful.

    Thanks for sharing

Believe it or not, the head on the right Termie is a Forgeworld Body/head combo and the one on the left is a bare SW head, hair removed and then Green Suffed hair on!.
Both different in origin, but yeah I see what ya mean!
cheers all for the praise, took me ages to do em!

Now working on a pack of Grey Hunters...ut i doubt they will be quite as nice as these were the centre piece and doing that armour with rank and file troops is highly time consuming for a table top army!
