Woo! I finally got some pics of my Necron Test Models, the ones I've been testing my lighting effects skills on. The one with feet it going to be how I paint my army, the one wihtout was just a test dummy to see if I could do decent lighting effects. Well, here they are:
Another Side Angle.
Without the tube.
Front without the Tube.
Other Test Model Front.
Other Test Model Side Angle.
These are just ot practice my Lighting effects, but I hope to improve on the COlor scheme aswell. Any help is [Of Course] welcome, ask any questions you want.
No Comments? None? I guess if nobody's interested, the MODs can close it, 'cause a thread with no posts just takes up space.
I like the effect, its quite interesting actually. Not perfect mind you, first pic I looked at I thought he was gunked with green slime or something, but then I read the actual post and saw the effect. I think you need a bit more highlighting and a greater clash of colour, but that may just be the quality of the picture, not the model. Keep it up, looks quite good.

THanks guys, this was a test model, and a very old one. The paint I used wasn;;t lumpy, but the stuff I painted over was. Dont worry, I plan to obtian some cleaning material [SImple Green] and strip the one I'm going to use.
Love the idea mate. i had a similar idea but never did it cause it never worked over my red colour scheme. good work =]
Dnt judge my judgments plz
Its not my fault, blame some other guy
Uhh.... thanks, I assume the tripple post was because of comp problems?
I like that rusty look. I assume they are supposed to be rusty. In any case they look really good. I will be cool to see what else you have in store for your Necrons and some larger models with more complex paint jobs.
Thanks! I really have no Idea how I'll make my Guass-less models look cool [Wraiths, Flayed Ones]. ANy Ideas?
