Any ideas on how to mount the metal sonic blasters on normal space marine bike? I can't seem to find a way to do it. The amount of conversion work is not an issue, I just need some ideas on how much of the gun to show and where to mount it, preferably without using the fairing.

Just make it easy for you and convert the plastic ones. Remove the mags, greenstuff a screamin head or something similar on to the end of the gun (maybe use the gargoyle-heads from the Veichle sprues?) and then it's done! You could also do a hoose that goes from the gun to the riders mouth so his screams are amplified into the gun.
You could take a space marine attack bike and replace the sidecar weapon with a sonic blaster somehow.:hmm:

Hey there helbrecht, so, here's what I did to convert my bikers to have weapons they didn't come with.
That bike on the left used a heavy bolter and the dragon head thingie from the vehicle sprue.
It was rather easy to do.
With what you're talking about, mounting it where the light/lamp is at the front of the bike could work too.
