I was trying to keep the size comparison between the older Hive Tyrant and Red Terror models with the new models. The Fex idea is a good one, there is a Trygon conversion using a fex on this forum that would fit your idea. I think the Terror's body is supposed to expand like a snake, thus the smaller model.
I like the body and the tail, but I think that the arms and head look way too big.
The head, especially, looks out of place. It's too wide, blunt and brutal looking, where it should be thin, cunning and lithe, IMO. In the same way Raveners are like more slender Warriors, so the Red Terror should be like a more slender, um, bigger thing.
I would use the normal carnifex head, and use GS to extend the front carapace panel down so it covers the eyes, and probably extend the back of the head further back so it is longer.
The mouth is the trickiest part though, as it has to either be closed, or vastly distended, like a snakes.
Maybe google for some images of snakes to help out, if you choose to take my advice at all, that is

It's always good to get advise, this is why we do forums:yes:
I used the bigger tusked head to illustrate the old models oversized (to swallow whole) head. The tusks take the place of the horn thingies, plus it's the only head with that wide unhinged in the front lower jaw. I was thinking toothy. I try to limit my GS use.
