I'm thinking of getting some termies to boost up my genestealer brood..
my idea is possibly to "break up" the armor in some places most notably the arms and torso...or remove the arms entirely to make way for rending claws...
my reasoning for this conversion even working is when the genestealer implants it's dna into the host and once the genestealer rips out of the host...how does he get out of the termie armor?
Anyone have any tips on how I might pull this off? or were I can get large talons to hook to the back in the manor of a lictor? (or an infested terran from Starcraft)
any help would be appreciated
my knowledge of genestealers fluff is, well it never existed in the first place actually. can they infest termies?
once i saw a ripper swarm mod were a worm popped out of a marines' head, the helmet lay nearby, apply blood colors generously...
i would try and find a way to make the termies arms look spralled and then cut the guy litterally in half with the stealer emerging from the center torso (think Aliens the movie at the dinner scene), if you can pull it off make it look like its uncurling in the process. use PVA glue to make simulated gore perhaps? and remember, they make blood red, scab red, and gore red for a reason. i wonder where the inspiration for those names came from...
its csalled green stuff, a knife, and a bunch of bits. Chop up the terminator maybe, and stick genstealer parts where its chopped, and fill in gaps with GS
Back from a long adventure.
Well, seeing as a genestealer lays it's eggs in a host's body, eventually, the resultant offspring will have to exist the body in a suitibaly violent and bloody way (think Alien). So, you could have a terminator who has been implanted, wandering around when suddenly, a very angry and hungry genesteal decides to exit his stomach. Also, after a genestealer implants its eggs but before the birth of the offspring, the host become very loyal to the genestealer who infected it, so you could just have normal terminators, but which look very ill, and maybe have one with a genestealer exiting. As for how a genestealer gets through the armour, Space Hulk fluff always said that terminator armour was no problem for the tyranid claws to get through...
I live in your eyes
Yeah you could always do a pre-birth squad, using regular heads (helmets lost in combat) with their armor torn up a bit, and paint very fine green lines in the face, arms, or any exposed skin to show they're not doing so well.
Or if you wanted to, you could just say that these are genestealers who's exits from the body had been blocked, I'm sure that when you have millions of genestealers roaming the galaxy you can't tell me 1 hasn't gotten stuck in armor, hell I get stuck when I'm getting in and out of my armor and it's leather... Perhaps the collapse of a building caused them to have no way out, so they completely ate the host and their siblings until they were strong enough to get out of the rubble.

Perhaps i'm going on old and now defunt fluff but Genestealers infest people through GENERATIONS, they don't pop out of the person they infest and it doesn't mature inside the person, the "egg" alters the hosts DNA and then when they have children they have hybrids and this continues until till the fourth generation of hybrids which will look like normal humans BUT they can have pure strain Gene stealers as children...
Regardless, on the topic of Terminators don't you think that the SM Apothicaries would have noticed any sort of alien thing inside them during their training.
And lets not forget that these are Terminators, they have been fighting for hundreds of years to get to the rank in which they have the honour to take the hallowed Terminator armour out onto the field and fight for the Emperor with it, do you really think anything inside of them could have gone that long unnoticed? These aren't a hapless crew on a freight ship, these are Space Marine Terminators!
Fluff wise this doesn't work, sorry
But if you make a cool conversion, all the power to yea, just don't be surprised when people challenge you on the fluff.
what if you say that they are just fitted in Termi armor.
as rts poser said
HAVE A LOT OF BLOOD!
i hav an chaos daemon popping out of a chaos lieutenant model and i found that lots of extra body parts on the base is always a good idea!
It wouldn't be a Terminator with a stealer popping out of him, It would have to be a cultist, like a guardsman. Basically, the first stealer that comes to the planet is the patriarch, along with alot of other genestealers that will begin creating hosts and cult members. These specially created stealers infect people with the genestealer virus that mutates their sexual organs. Then, two mutated humans have a baby and are extremely protective of the child which looks rather like a genestealer. The growth process is accelarated and eventually the children and eventually the stealer-children look look more like humans. After the 4th generation, some humans will carry a child inside them, that, during the time it is carried inside the human, will mutate into a genestealer, and, at birth time, will claw it's way out of the mothers womb. This will be a highly psychic pure strain genestealer.
The only difference between tattooed people and non-tattooed people is that tattooed people are awesome and can kick your ass.

Wouldn't the Terminators or his brethrent or some scanner notice that they were infested? I mean my fluff on them is nil, but you'd think you'd know if you were infested with an egg....I mean, they obviously didn't get it at their base, and the only other place they could have gotten it would be on the field of battle...so...you'd think they'd scan them to make sure...and then once they found it, remove it. And if it's not removeable...kill the marine.
"Can you put that in a memo and title it '***** I already know!'"
Church: "Ok, so we're agreed? You first!"
Sarge: "Get on with it, Griff."
Griff: "I'd just like everyone to know: that I suck."
Griff: "And that I'm a girl..."
Church: "What else?"
Griff: "And I like ribbons in my hair, and I want to kiss all the boys."
Sarge: "This has to be the best surrender of all time."
