Anyway i wish to re-do my hold so i striped down mine as well and knowing me i have hit s snag the colour sceame i wish to use (Black and silver) is great but i have no idea how to make black look good (not like i've undercoated them and left it) any ideas

"Look its a hairless dwarf!"
"no its Ghandi."
Try to highlight the edges of black , just as with Black Templars,. Start off with chaos black + codex grey , then codex grey, codex grey + space wolf grey and finish off with space wolf grey this will give them a fine look. Paint the edges with the side of your brush and do not forget to remove the excessive amount of paint from your brush with a paper towel. Oh and also try to water down your paint untill it gets a milk-like volume Hope this will help you
