My LatD rarely sees the battleground but when they do I make sure I pack as many tanks as I can fit in the FOC.
Here are some more of my traitorous machines.
My Bassie, enhanced with Divine guidiance, has had quite some luck with the scatter dice.
While looking at it now I realise I have not drilled the HB, I will I assure you.
The Russ is not only a rolling battlecannon but also serves as a something to carry all that flesh the Hounds and Big Mutants crave. I'm not really done with this one though, I'll fill the box beside engine with arms, legs and blood. Maybe put a shovel in it too.
It comes with a fridge, just need some chains to hold the food in place...
This fills one of the FA-slots, traitors with shotguns a flamer and a Champ with Wind of Chaos and some Thralls. It's a mean combo.
Pretty killer, love the concept of the bassie, would like to see a few more mutations on it though, the rest looks a touch plain.
Joe Peshi (lone wolf) kill tally:Lash Sorcerer, Ghazkull, Yriel, Termi Libby, Vulkan.
The Bassie might get some more mutations, I have still to make the...backside where the crew should be. But I like to keep the mutations few and not so over the top as they tend to be displayed inmany other armies. I have however thought about giving it (the Basie) a couple of tusks underneith the Earthshaker, but it remains to be seen how I'll do.
Thanks for the comments.
I like the overall rusty look of the models - it looks like all the surfaces are weathered, and not only edges or folds on armor plates. Good job, especially on the Chimera (I think your best one from the three pics)!
Sometimes less is more. I like them.
Very definately traitor, as opposed to 'painted black'.
That FA combo sounds nasty. I wouldn't like to be on the wrong end of that, that is for certain...
Nothing more to add really, great models, keep up the good work

My traitors have not been far into the Eye of Terror, they have in fact never been there they have their base in the Mechtroid-belt. Kind of a Spaceship graveyard so big it looks like an asteroid belt.
The only "real" mutations (except from the Big Mutants) are the Floating mutants I'm working on (really slowly) and their Heavy Weapons teams (not the mortar but the others) who have taken the Codex wording "two members of the unit may form a heavy weapons team" a bit to literary.
I'll post some more pics when I have more stuff finished.
Awsome job mate.. they really look like they've been used in war.
I really do like the weathering on these guys! Very nice!!! I think once you fit some more body parts in you will fill up those areas nicely.
