Moved stuff down to skip past the adverts, damn annoying things right. - KU
At the behest of Gareth I decided to show my face and work around here again.
Anyway here is my latest, just doing a quick high game quality army for myself.
I haven't nearly put as much work as I usually do.
The sisters only took me about 4 hours each and the rhino about 10-15 hours.
Nothing compared to teh usually 20-40 hours a mini,
but these girls aren't meant to win and Golden Demons either.
Anyway here is a group shot and two seperate pics. I don't think
they are too bad considering the time I put into them. What do u think?
btw I did addd another tan glaze to the rhino, just to make the
recesses a bit more defined but this was done after I took the pic.

very cool looking stuff. A very simple but extremely effective color scheme. My only comment is that the rhino coloration looks more magenta and the sisters look more pink. Could be the lighting but otherwise I like them.
You are going to do something with the bases right?

Good Sir - this is a above the average LO quality, right there at the top with Gareth, Slorak and other top-notch painters here! I must say that I would be honored to face your army. I am not too sold on the Rhino (but you say that this is a WIP) but the Sisters look splendid!
I would possibly add more definition to the gold accents (not sure what shade have you used there) and come up with a creative basing to contrast the bright models...
verry beautifull models
great job and i understand why gareth said you should post them

wow....i like those models alot. For the Rhino id paint the part under the exaust pipe pink as well. that way, i think the rhino would look a little more pink like the sisters of battle, but still they are good looking models

oooo pertyfull and anyone else notice the sisters of battle's initials are close to a rude comment's initials?
PLEASE FOR THE LOVE OF GOD LOOK AT MY BLOG!
Rep people if they help you!!!
Thanks for the comments guys.
Yes the bases will be done. I am doing a full Army display base, which will be a cathedral that has an black marble imperialeagle in the centre. The sisters will have black marble bases that will fit "into" the imperial eagle.
I think the pink/purple differential has to do with scale more than actual colour course then again maybe not lol

Damn good....very damn good.....I wish I had money to commission something

Seen these progress over at 40konline, and they're looking fantastic.
I can appreciate the reluctantness of dirtying up such a beautiful tank, but i think iif you're going to add a little you have to go whole hog for realism, so scratches, rust around rivets etc etc. And the less you think about it the more realistic it looks.
But as it stands I really really like these pieces. I would just like to see more depth to the white, it could be that it has plenty of shade on it but the camera lights have burnt out the subtle tones.
Keep in there mate, you'll soon have an army!
Cool. Not to keen on the colour scheme but it is very well-painted so I give you cred for that.
