wow.. this guy is just great
I like it, looks really good.
You could alter the armour slightly (i.e. put some chaos symbols on him) so that he looks a little more venerable-chaotic. I Imagine powerful Chaos servants would be covered in arcane symbols and the like. Similarly his sword looks a little too clean cut for Chaos.
Other than that I think he looks realy good. I would have said those wings would have been too big for the model before I saw your pictures - but they look just right. You do need to put more detail on his base though. As you have used a 40mm base there will be plenty of space to really go to town and adding interesting bits and pieces.
Nice work mate, post up some more pictures when he is finished:yes:
Great conversion, but like rp252 said, he's a little too clean cut. Maybe trade his sword out for archaons and some skulls hanging on chains from his waist to tie it in to the wings and give it that chaos feel. When you paint him be sure too add the terror markings and such. Great use of the EC body btw.

i think hes great as nightlords are less chaotic then their allies and as such should have skuulls but very few chaotic symbols:ninja:
choclate is only relevant in matter not thoery:some old wiped out bum
Actually Night Lords also have Chaos Symbols. The reason being it further enhances their terror tactics.
Can you hear the voices too?
well, i think that he sould have some fearsome item, night lords adre all baout fear remember, so some skulls, or other stuff to fear him up a little
Thanks everybody for the positive feedback. He is a work in progress, something I didn't really mention before, so he is by no means finished. I've been trying to experiment with doing some skulls and such with greenstuff but its kind of hard. One of my other friends plays chaos so I think I'm gonna be throwing on some extra bits that they have accumulated. The base is also not really started. For that I was thinking about using a pile of skulls to stand on, but it is a little cliche. What do you guys think?
one thing i did notice, he is a little far forward on this base, so if uou do want to put skulls on it, which would be reallly cool, you need to remove him and re glue him in the middle
I added flames to his sword and painted him up. I have an epicast base on the way, but couldn't wait that long to post pictures of the almost finished product. Here is his sword with GS...
And here is a link to my thread in the painting forum....
