OK Guys, I want to convert one of the DH Inquisitors to have a Psycannon but can't seem to find any bitz that would help me to do this - can anyone provide any ideas? Thanks in advance
Hmm... What about taking a normal plasmagun, cut down the nozzel and attach a bolter-nozzle instead and then greenstuff a smoth surface over the cooling-part-thing on the gun (the radiator-part). And cut away all plasma gun-ammunition-parts and attach a cut-down (so it's straight) bolter-mag.
You might be onto something here DMC - how about turning the plasma gun power cell bit into the barrel? Would it work?
what you need is a stormbolter (works best with termy ones), trim off the barrels and replace them with a single, larger barrel, then you smooth off all the unnecessary bits (aiming sight, iconography, etc.). You might also want to "smooth" off the corners into curves to give you the rounded look of a genuine psycannon, but it's not totally necessary.

Maybe, but I'm more for a cut-down, straight bolter-mag since they are a version of bolters after all.Originally Posted by Franksi
Maybe in previous editions, yes, but since Codex: Daemonhunters came out the psycannon has evolved into a weapon in its own right. I agree with Frankski, but tis all up to how your converting skills are.Originally Posted by Da Mighty Camel
It's till a bolter, altough a much more advanced one that only follows the same basic principles of a bolter (self-proppeled mass-reactive warheahd shots).
You could drop teh mag all over of course.
