Shas'Ui Or'Es bears a captured Space Marine standard and waves it high to encourage his fellow Firewarriors in battle. The standard itself is taken from an old plastic Space Marine Sergeant (which came with the Citadel paint starter kit).
Or'Es gives my Firewarriors +1 to Leadership in any battle with Space Marines- so I tell my friend. He replies that his Marines are filled with a bloodlust at the site of it and get +1 to Strength and +1 Attack. <_<
We've never used these experimental rules.
Heh. Sounds like a good conversion, but I cant see it. You get the address right, Steve?
"It fits like clothes made out of wasps!"
Mmmm, yes, I've got the address right. That's odd. Err, what are the parameters for posting a picture on the forum? Pixel by Pixel and KB total size etc. ?
Err, is there something about Geocities that inhibits linking images to message boards? That's all I can think of. Thanks a lot Blackhat for pointing out Muchos.
Well done, very cleanly converted. Nice paint job too... half the models I see on the net are all painted like crap, with one or two colours, one brush size and one coat.
Only thing I'd change would be the legs, the I\ pose legs would be more effective, putting more 'action' into the pose of the model.
Thanks, Jacen. I might switch the legs around one of these days but they're pretty well glued to the torso with Super-Glu. I have a little saw attachment for my X-Acto knife but I'm not too eager to start sawing just yet
Agreed. I had run out of flat finish, though and needed to put something on. I dug out some gloss finish from my dad's locker and decided that I would do it over when I got more flat.Originally posted by XV-88@Feb 5 2004, 06:26
I really like the conversion, but the paint job is really dulled (not literally) by the gloss. Usually gloss takes away from a model, rather than add to it.
I love the experimental rules I like it, but I'd like it better if you hadn't of used that banner pole. I HATE those banner poles, and I make a point about not using any in my armies.
And yes, Geocities doesn't let you link images. Try pbase or photobucket
