I'm from Australia and I don't know about you but recently our White Dwarf came with a free Dwarf and Night Goblin to promote the new Warhammer edition. I bought it just to paint the minis. I don't play but I paint 40K and these are the first warhammer stuff I have tried. They were a lot faster to paint than 40K cause they were smaller. Took about a day 4 to 5 hours and used no inks, washes or dry brushing. Dwarf not finished yet.
Still looking forward to playing oneday but painting is fun and after finishing a single goblin, I couldn't imagine doing a whole squad let alone an entire army.
...But you did a very nice job on the goblin! I myself am one year into my Witch Hunters army and not close to being done yet... It all takes soooo much time.
Especially since the goblins come in groups of 20+ models.
Ask me something about Warhammer: Age of Reckoning.
Yeah, it would probably take me years to finish my Space Marine army. At least I can look at them when they are finished and I haven't cut any corners. At least by the time I am finished I will have a really good looking army.
20 + models, man what a head ache! I'd rather just go around painting the best bits of each army just for the fun of it.
I really like the painting style on the goblin, top job.
Yep, I'm from Aussie too. I got that WD just to paint those minnis too. I didn't do nearly as gooder job on my Goblin as you though. I really like it.
