I finished my chaplain just in time for this last Saturday's painting competition at my local RTT.
The colour is a bit wonky on these pix for some inexplicable reason.
Every time I try to correct the colour it only gets worse...
Oh well. Here he is. I used no ink on him. Pretty much everything is wet-blended.
The chapter insignia is hand painted. (even though it looks a lot like the skull detail on the SM decal sheet).
I ended up with him taking 1st place in the Single Miniature (Adults) catagory.
Any comments/criticism/etc is welcome.

looks good I think. The colors is well combined. I can see that there is something wrong with the colors in your picture...
Hard to make out any thing that is bad about this one, I like it.
This can because of the pictures but your black armor looks like it have some highlights that are not as smooth as the rest of the model. Imp thinking about the foot and the back of the leg. As I sad this can be the picture... also this is just a minor thing
I really like him.
Along with what AndEng said (only spelled better  ), I think the gold on the crozius looks a little flat, another layer of shading and a few more highlights (specifically: along the vertical edges of the feathers) would really add a lot to it, I think.
But seriously, he is very fine indeed

I like it. Looks very nice. Personally I would like to see the text filled out a bit more but not bad at all! Good job on the win!
