Question about the new Spider Rider models...

Are the spiders of a size suitable for a "Drider" conversion using Dark Elf/ Dark Eldar parts?

i personally dont own any, but ive seen them next to other models, and if you were going to put a bigger mount on there, there feet would be dragging on the ground...the only other use i could see are tenticles for the legs and such...

What I mean is using the spiders' bodies and legs in place of the Elf/Eldar legs. Essentially half-elf half-spider kind of thing. Something like this one here.

with some minor greenstuff work, u can prolly make some really cool conversions based on this idea. u should be able to pull it off.

as for them actually riding the spiders, i cant recall if they are THAT big as to not make the riders look like they are riding tiny spiders....

but i am 100% that they are big enough to make the half elf half spider conversion!

Hmm.. I think it would be tricky to do- the spiders sit very low to the ground and there's not a lot of 'body' to work with. Maybe some of the LOTR giant spiders might work better?
No more NG spearmen, thanks! Now I need some pump-wagons!

oops, didnt know what a 'drider' was...:shifty: anyway that would be sick to make a army of those, i hope you can figure things out. Also, i dont think that the goblin spider would work, because they are too low to the ground and dont have much posability, except that i dont know what to use instead...ill just stop now....
