I need to know how to paint stars on black. Shoudl i go with blue stars or yellow stars how do I make them and how do i go about layering them. Rember they should be small and not dots.
if your painting on black, start with a darker blue (shadow grey) and then work your way up with fortress grey on to many thinned down layers of white. This is the only way ive been able to get white on any color, let alone black. If they are big enough, draw them on...not many people do this, and it works great. I use a pencil for that kind of thing. If this is for a cloak, i would make a wide range of sizes, i find asemetrical can have beuty as well. If its for something were the size is small i think you could get away with dots, but to keep with the different sizes, make small lines going up down left right getting smaller until they fade out you could also rotate them so lond as the lines are opposite
