OK well im working on my Salver chem dogs army and im trying to find cheap and VERY usefull heads for the dogs (bald and CHEAP) at the time im using ungor head trimned down alitte and they work but Iwould like to find some stuff I could use. Any help would be greatly appericated.
yeah I tried that it's just way to much time/green stuff....I might have to end up castng some heads.
Space Marine and Chaos Space Marine helmetless heads.
Battlewagon Bits Sgt Respirator Heads New x5 bits Warhammer 40k Marine
Battlewagon Bits should have plenty of heads for you. Also, check out the SM Scouts for heads, too.
heres a pic to give you a better idea of what i'm talking about
yeah so have a little tube thingy like that running from the mouth opening to the backpack.
however, one problem i foresee is the SM head being too big for the Imperial guard body.
maybe you could cut it down to make it fit. i'll try to see if i can find a similar, yet smaller head
Yeah I tried the SM heads, they are far to big for my likings, the main thing is that they are really wide.
you could use armegeddon steel legion heads?
thats all i could come up with besided GS.
Good luck, always wanted to see a savlar army, good luck man.

What about the Cadian Vox heads? They have a rebreather-looking constructs already modeled on them. You can get them HERE at Battlewagon Bits: 3 heads and backpacks for about $3 (50 cents a piece). Clip off the vox antennas and speaker, join the vox 'mask' to the backpack with some wire. Salvar rebreather and pack. That might work well, especially if you're basing the Chem-Dogs off of Cadians.
Otherwise, I would suggest taking a look a the Steel Legion models and use GS to model masks onto whatever models you're using. It should be fairly simple, just make a soft pyramid of GS and mold it over the mouth and nose of the model. After it dries, use wire to put tubing to connect it to a backpack, or use the cylanders off the sprue frames to make the gas-mask cylanders. You could even change it up a bit for each model.
Either way would be good, though I would favor the second, because it would fit very well with the Catchacans, which I believe are the ones that most closely describes the grundgy, greasy Chem-Dogs visually. Maybe a mix of Cadians and Catchacan models might be appropriate; I believe that the Chem-Dogs are one of the penal legions, IIRC.
Hope that helped!
