Welcome to Librarium Online!
Leech, that is a beautiful model. Really well done, to be sure.
If I were to say anything constructive about it, I think the talons are too busy. Though the lightning effects are well done, it just seems a little too much. I think using the bone color you used for the smaller talons would work better. Granted, it's a preference thing, but still, I'm grasping here
Marion: You're not the man I knew ten years ago.
Indiana: It's not the years, honey, it's the mileage.
For the last time, there are

Do you have any pix of your whole tyranid force? I've really liked everything I've seen from your army, and think it'd be an impressive sight to see the whole horde at once.

I know it's not terribly constructive, and everyone does it, but allow me to indulge, and post a barely sensible post of mixed praise, awe and disbelief:
What the hell man? It can't be legal to paint that well? That's truly truly amazing.
I knew you gave good advise to painters before on the forums, but crikey pie, I didn't think you'd be this good.
There were times when i thought you were being just a tiny bit high and mighty with your advice, now i realise just how humble you were being. Fork in hell. I take my hat off to you.
There's gotta be something wrong with you if you can paint that well.
I am in awe.
Thanks for letting me see such a gorgeous model.

that truely is one of the best Tyranid Models ive ever seen, nobody does the slimey/wet look, and i think you have done justice to all the wet, slick and Slimey Aliens out there

I did the lightning/bio-electric effect that way because I wanted it to be very striking and I understand that it could appear rather over the top, as was said it's down to taste.
Thanks to everyone who has comented. If you have any more questions or criticism I will be happy to answer.

Thanks for the comments.
Nice! I too really like the overall look of this guy! The color composition works very well together. The blends are smooth. Excellent! Gloss doesn't look too over the top or distracting!
I agree with the basing but hey... so it goes right!?!?
