Well kind of hit a mental block on the drop pod and chaplain... i think a couple of years of painting marines is starting to get to me, so i'm back on tyranids. Here is a WIP of what i'm working on.
The upper torso and scything talons are pretty much done. The back needs yellow layered on the green. And i have a lot to do on the lower torso and venom cannon still.
Fav parts are the talons and head spike, very time consuming and a testiment to brush control, but very rewarding.
my marines suck even though i just repainted them (if you saw them before you would poke out your eyes with a stick). if you want to see them and have a nice laugh then PM me. if my camera works i will send you a pic.
As you say, those spikes/spines/blades are a testament to your talent and skill.
Obviously just a WIP, but lovely nonetheless
Also, I know how you feel about marines sometimes

Wonderful as usual mate, fully agree with -t. Those talons are absolutly amazing. I love your nid colour scheme and this tyrant looks like its going to be a very fitting centre piece.
