Does anyone here know how to paint thousand sons? How would you paint them, what details should i be aware of? What colors do you use?

Regal Blue with either shinning Gold or Burnished Gold trim. I use BG because I wanted them to look darker and old. I also used white primer, but that is up to you.

I can't help you with the details. All of my three squads are the old skool version (which is mind-numbing to paint!&#33

Don't use Regal Blue... especially if you are going for the look on the front of the box. I use a royal blue (ultramarines blue is royal blue with a fancy name) color made by a cheap company for mine.

Also to make the gold bands appear older and used either apply a gold color and give a pure chestnut ink wash, then go over on the edges with the gold color you used before the ink; or you you can you brazen brass for the first coat and go back over the edges with a gold color. Also, make the eyes a green color (as opposed to the more evil color red), it gives them more of a disembodied spirit feel to it.
It's not Raymond Luxury Yacht, It's pronounced throat wobbler mangrove.

Ink washing is applying the inks that Games Workshop makes from their line of paints.

The 5th issue of Black Gobbo has painting tutorials on all 4 cult armies, and the TS tutorial is prolly the only good one, except the WE. The other two tutuorials suck.
