For my new Eldar army, I really want a female Farseer (mainly because of my fluff).
I don't like the new Farseer models very much (too much robe, no armour), so I thought I would make a female one rather than another male one, but I'm not certain on how I should do this.
Looking through the GW range, I found some models and used my bad skills on Photoshop to come up with these ideas:
The one the left is using a Dark Elf Bolt Thrower Crew body and the right one uses a 2K Cauldron Of Blood Hag Queen body. I swappde the heads and arms from the Farseer picture. Personally I prefer the one on the right, as it looks better for the type of Farseer I'm aiming for.
So what do you think? And more importantly, are they the right size? Would the head fit on the Hag Queen's body, or would it be too large? And the same with the Bolt Thrower?

Whoa, i think ths second idea is great, but well, perhaps she needs more armour, don´t ou think? But in this image i think you shouldn´t have any big problem
Don´t try to hide, i can smell your corruption...
As far as more armour goes, could do. Problem is I'm pretty bad at sculpting with greenstuff and such, and it would probably turn out terrible. I might try though. My excuse is.....um.....she's on the Atkins (sp?) diet.
And the problem with sizes is that the pictures were from different angles and distances, so I had to shrink the Farseer head and arms quite a lot to fit them on.
I just realised who the Hag Queen is too (I never realised, just liked the model). She's another Dark Elf, so I might be able to see one in my local GW and ask about it there (I'll probably be going there on Sunday.)
The second one sure does look cool. I would go with that one.

I would prefer to be called Daniel or Camel, your choice.
Yeah it looks like that. Good luck with it, will be looking forward to seeing some pictures!
I have actually also planned to do a female Farseer in the future. I'm going to convert it from a female Guardian-body though.
well, this won't take much skill but does involve greenstuff. you must also have an eye for... well, shape.
this might be a bit crude, but you could just slap on some GS boobs onto the farseer. if you have the seen the farseer in dawn of war, you will know what i mean.
I think the one on the right is the best. She is more lifelike and she looks like she's doing something instead of just hangin' about. The one on the left also has a distinctly fantasy look and is easy to link to Dark elves because of it.
I think that you will need to still do much more work on the model than you have shown. She has quite a few skulls on her. These make her look more like one of the Dark eldar instead of Craftworld eldar. I suggest that you remove these and replace them with Eldar runes. Also this will help to reduce the whole 'psycho death whore' look that the Hag queen has.
be sure to mount them on circular bases, not the square ones
and i like the second one better, it looks more like a female
