just do the conversion ignore the fluuffff
Another more fluffly thing would be to remove the hands and replace them with weapons. Those tau don't need the hands there anyway. WHich do you guys think is better, 1/144 or 1/100 scale? I would say the most titan like scale is 1/60, on full foot tall. Problem is, most of the models that are like that cost over 100$. WOuldn't risk ruining it on a conversion, would I? Still cheaper than the forgeworld stuff though. I think that 1/100 scale is better. You can still get a good gundam for about 30-50 bucks, the price of most smaller vehicles. 1/144 is like 5 inches tall, too small. BTW, I'm not really sure how tall 1/100 scale is, it depends on the gundam and the size of it in real life. For example, GM is a lot shorter than Sazabi.
Yeah a kampfer would do the best, i think.
the evas are a little too spindly for the tau, and the plastic looks hard to work with.
but sounds cool
but make sure to use GS to smooth out the joins...
hasnt a tau titan already been made?
im sure ive seen a picture of one somewhere. if anyone has the link then can i please have it.
Want a website built to show off your miniatures? We recommend www.reaperwebdesign.co.uk
that sounds cool
A tau titan was on TotalTau, but it was just a mech with the tau weapons photoshopped on. What's GS?
One would venture that GS is Green stuff, is it not?
And on the subject of stupid questions, what are these gundam models you speak of?
Man mentor, you have one freaky avatar.
Anyway, gundam models are Bandai made models of these giant humanoid robots that look super cool. THey are snap together and have joints that can move. The are detailed, but none of the details come colored, of course. So painting would help. Search the internet for gundams and you will find it. THey are highly detailed, yet a lot cheaper than WH40k. The models are much bigger. For example, you can get a Master Grade, which is at 1/100 scale. It's like 6-7 inches tall, and some cost as little as 30 bucks! And the vehicles GW sells are a lot smaller for 30 bucks. The Perfect Grade gundams are 1 foot tall, about the size of the forgeworld titans. The cheapest ones found on ebay can be about 120 bucks, but the forgeworld titans are like 600 bucks. What a ripoff! Plus the perfect grade gundams have an inner frame, with mock-mechanics, and armor plating you put on top of that. THat means that you can take off the armor and have just the mechanics showing, highly effective and very detailed. Plus some armor plates can move. And they come with lights, to light up the eyes. For the forgeworld titans, you would have to do some serious conversion work to make it light up. Plus you don't have to paint the perfect grades and they are still just about perfect.
Man, have i been verbose...
her from a japanese anime by the same name. (a cartoon)

"Over there, by that river of boiling souls."
"Well I'll be damned... it's a Starbucks."
