    sisters of battle conversion

    Hey all!

I have seen some sisters of battle recently, and thought Wow, i need those heads. Not the crappy ones with hair, but the helmed ones. I looked at the store briefly, and it looks as if they are all single piece. My question is: is there any sister of battle head that is removable? Would i have to buy stock troopers and harvest their heads? If so, which ones would work the best? and finally, are there similar heads like that, or are these ones unique?. I like the helmets and think they would look really cool on some empire knights.....thanks for your help.

You get one in the Sister of Battle Immolator sprue. the crewman has a 'sabbat' pattern helm. You might be able to get them from Battlewagon Bitz...but no promises.

Yes, it comes with two heads. One with the sabbat pattern helm, and one without.

Aye, that's correct. The one without helmet also have a microbead. But really, that would be your only chance unless you feel like cutting one of from teh one-piece SoB-models.

Which I highly recommend you don't do, unless you're really desperate. The metal wouldn't cut properly, because you wouldn't be able to cut it cleanly with all the other parts of the model in the way.

Even if you could manage to cut it, it would be extremely hard to stick to anything else.

I suggest you try to trade with someone for the part from the Immolator sprue that you want, either directly from another member or from a website linked to on LO, such as BattleWagon. ^_^

    thanks for your help!

unfortunatly my goal might be unattainable.....i would need to find 8 people who want a immolator, which is probably not going to happen.....or fork over 80 bucks just for 8 heads. Well, it was a good idea, ill just use regular heads or just make my own.

theres a few places online that do online trading, including here. I'd look into that.

Also, it wouldnt be a bad idea to go down to your hobby shop and ask them to make an announcment for you to all their customers that you need some, or just go around asking every one there.
