does anyone know how to make bionics?
i really need these to finish some models
Necron Bitz could work.
Fsailing that, just cut out a section of the limb and replace it with a number of wires equal to the bones replaced.
Example, if you were to cut out a Shin (lower leg) you'd use 1 small bits of wire as the lower leg has one bone. But if you were to replace teh forearm (Lower Arm) you'd need to use 2 small bits of wire as there are normally 2 bones there.
I've done it that way a few times and while it's not exactly amazing, it is simple and effective.
Loads of tubes and other bits and pieces attatched to the armour of your models will help to make them look more mechanical. A pin-head can make a kind of monacle or bionic eye. Many of the biological tubes on Tyranid weapons can easily be painted to look mechanical if you stick them to a Space marine. Most Tyranid players, if you know any will have a few bits and pieces spare.
You don't have to specifically show that the model has bionic limbs just that he has more machinery attatched to him.
