Welcome to Librarium Online!
My Imperial guard army uses the Cameleoline and Light Infantry Doctrines. So to fit that I wanted my heavy weapons to have some extra cover instead of a silly cloak for the +1 cover save, and since they infiltrate it's like they had some time to dig in and prepare for the incoming contact.
They were all made out of super sculpey and bass/balsa wood. Details about super sculpey can be found in my <scenery thread here>
Here's the first finished one. My Autocannon in a foxhole. I plan on repainting the sandbags a tan color once I get the right paints and adding a little static grass.
My Second WIP Autocannon. I might try some camo netting if I can find some fabric that works.
My first Lascannon WIP. This is ment for an Anti-Tank squad with 2 others.
I have a mortar and heavy bolter to make in the near future, so I'll update here with those at least. After that I have about 4 more lascannons and another heavy bolter to do as I build my army up.
Nothing is glued down on that one yet. The Cadian and lascannon come out of the bottom for painting. That's really the only limitation to the sculpey. You have to be able to get the plastics out before baking and put them back in afterwards.
I really like the autocannon at the top, very well done. Personally I think the other ones are a little over done. I think a small camo-netted emplacement would be ok in this situation, but a full sandbagged position is a bit much. Maybe get the original heavy weapons teams and just play with their base a bit, add some more sandbags on the front an maybe a tad bit of nettting over the back.
Anyway, nice job.

You did a really nice job with the lascannon team conversion and with the autocannon. Not that either is better, however the lascannon really give that dug in ahead of time feel, like they prepared their own cover. Nicely done! Are you doing the vehicles to match with camo netting and other items?

Very high quality sculpting and flawless conversion work. Not to mention fine painting as well. Although the second autocannon team curretnly looks like they're in a crater made of chocolate. But other that that its brilliant!

I get the feeling the autocannon bloke at the top is gonna get a bit of a lip when he fires. ooohh headache too. There very cool models though, it'll look wierd when this hole moves across the battlefield but that sort of thing is what makes the game real fun sometimes.
