I've done my 'nids with a dipping technique, and the end result i'm quite happy with, with one exception. I like the glossy look in the skin and on everything except the carapace and armor. I'd like to get those Matte, without having to spray the model with dull coat, then paint the glossy back on.
SO! does anyone know of a good product that will matte a glossy surface without having to be sprayed?
I'll do it the other way if i have to, but it seems like a pain.
well, all i can suggest is to dip it into something that does not dry shiney. It looks like you are going to have to use a matte color than paint over with 'Ard Coat' .
