I've been skimming through the forums, and i knew that there has been topics like this where people would describe a terrible incident they encountered while painting in their work area. Examples like people drinking their paint water instead of their beverage, gluing their fingers together, aciddently ruining a finished painted model with modeling glue, the works (ironic i've listen some of the things that has happened to me) But let me get to the point of this post, now i didnt know where to post this at first, but any who mods do move it if it is in the inapprioate place. But here goes, my paint station and my computer are on the same desk. Dumb idea i know. So i'm painting along, and oops i split my water all over my keyboard and mouse. Sad to say my mouse didnt survive and my keyboard is all glitchy.
I just want to know if anyone else has any terrible accidents like this, just to brighten my mood away from me having ideas to go out and buy a new mouse and keyboard

I've sliced my thumb open with my exacto knife. Twice. First time I severed the nerves, but it was such a clean cut that I wrapped it up and waited for it to stop bleeding, closed it up with a bandaid, and the nerves healed in a couple of week.
Chief Inspector Dreyfus: Are you wounded?
Clouseau: No. Fortunately I was saved by the darkness.
Chief Inspector Dreyfus: So what we need is more light.
Gerrero dude, cut a way from yourself. Jesus, through the f-in nerve? Argh that sends shivers through my spine.
Ugh..did the same thing to myself, but nearer to the wrist area. Still freaks me out...

Yeah, I've got 'modellor's thumbs' as well, the tops have a few little white scars from overenthuiastic stanley knife. ouch.
Also drank a lot of different coloured painting water. And I've accidentally dipped my paintbrush into my cup of tea.
Dumbest thing I ever did was, I have this habit where I put the nib of my paintbrush in my mouth to get a nice, crisp point, then put it into the paint. One time I was using a tatty old brush to apply some superglue... you can guess what happened.
Superglue on your tongue is a repulsive sensation. rlek!
I can imagean superglue tasting that way.Just the smell makes my head hurt.
I have spilled paint on my carpet, cut my finger making terrain, scared up my fingers cutting, shaving, filing models, shaved a bit of skin with an exacto knife, cut my other finger on a sharp sprue(Don't ask). And have almost super glued my fingers together and to the tube its self.
its amazing aint it? Everyone learns to cut AWAY from yourself, but everybody does it:shifty: Im guilty, and the cuts on my fingers prove it. Also, GW paints dont taste very well either, i like to make points on my brushes with my mouth, and well i think you can piece together what i did....
