    Roman Temple

For a school project I have to build a school project and plan to base it off of the Maison Carre.

I am going to use styrofoam to build the podium and walls, but does anyone have ideas of what I should I do for the columns? Roof? The inside? How to paint it?

    Thanks for the help.

Just take a thinner piece of foam for the roof, design it like the floor by carving the design, but make the squares smaller or whatever to meet your needs. Then after you get an A, you do us all a favor and take a pic, and make us all want to use roman temples are scenery

you can buy plasticard that is already molding into tiles as well. I think your best bet would just be a heck of a alot of little rectangles, unless you have acess to a hobby store that carries plasticard moldings

You can also buy columns from your local cake store.

The roof, make it out fo plasticard - same with the walls.

for the decoration, use either greenstuff or milliput and carve it into shape.

After that, paint it marble, then, depending if you want to age it or battledamage it, paint your 'wear and tear' over the top.

    That should work.
