Hello all, I'm abit inspired.

I'm looking to make a commander that looks like this, I've got a few ideas, but really I'd like to hear if any of you have any ideas of how to go about making it.
Having been asked to specify, superb I will. The regal looking person in the picture is generally the goal, I'd like a sort of bald head in place though, preferably young, good looking. Then ontop of that I'd be placing an eyepatch. I'd probably be having the general holding the sword by the early part of the blade, rather than the hilt, I dont know why, I just think it'd look nice. But really, the only thing I need advice on is a model that would suit the legs/chest of the man in the picture

I would think that you'd have better luck looking at the Lord of the Rings minis. There are a number of models that look very similiar to the one in the G.W. illustration- both in the model's face and in the models build. Hope this helps.

It might be worth waiting to see what the Empire Commander's Box will contain when it's released next year. It is afterall going to be very similar to the O&G warboss box (1 foot, 1 mounted).

Well, I have seen the new empire box, and the pose is. . . uninspiring. . .
Anyway I've already decided to model the. . . Greatsword Champion!
heres a quick thought. use a tueton guard body, chaos cloak and if you dont have a sword aroung the arm of a bret. battle standard arm, you'd need some green stuff to patch but should lokk ok.
add a sheild to the other arm, lokks slightly different but helps game terms.
