Here's a picture of a mini comversion I did the other day. It's supposed to be a pre heresy Lunar Wolve based on this http://www.blacklibrary.com/images/b...false-gods.jpg Anyways here it is Any comments or ideas?
Simple head swap and shave. Nice.
What are your plans for the Chapter badge?
That's a nice model man, keep at it, they'd look awesome on the table (I'm doing the color scheme for my Chaos Boys)
as for the chapter symbol, there's one on the German Website, let me pull it up.
Ah, here we are:
That's still a little hard to do freehand still, but I think it looks right proper

What helmet is that? I've been looking for more old timey SM helmets. Nice conversion btw. Perhaps you should get a transfer sheet from Space Wolves, tons of wolves you could take from.
Sleeping, not dead.

It's a Khorne Berzerker head with the big fan things cut off.
Takka n' Wakka's Dakka Attacka! 33W / 6L / 1D
I'd use some space wolves stuff, it should would as well.
Thanks for the replies. Yeah, it's just a Khorne Berserker head with the 'ears' removed. Adding some Space Wolves accessories would be cool, but if I’m only building the one guy I really don't think it's worth spending 50 dollars on the sprue. How do you think I should paint him though? I was going to undercoat white and then do a REALLY thin wash of scorpion green. Any ideas?
For the Legion icon, get hold of the SW transfer sheet, as it has a wolf head on it just like the Luna Wolves one, and simply apply it over a grey crescent (which should be easy enough to freehand).
As for the general painting, I'd paint the whole model fortress grey, and highlight up to white; or prime white and wash with very very thinned down fortress grey.
Also, make *sure* you take off all those nasty mould lines. It'll really really help the finished apearance
