You can't begin to imagine how relived I am to have finished these terminators.
No way did i think they were going to take this long. The detail was a real headache to do, but i gave it a go, and in most instances cut corners to get them done quicker. After all, Nick's vindicator will kill them in one shot, so i don't want to spend too long on them!
Hope you like them as much as i do.
wow man quite impressive work by you as always. I love these models and you've made them look even better. I especially like the sergeants sword, good stuff.
I do hope that you are planning on doing a little more work on the bases right!!!
In all seriousness the reds look great and i especially like the look of the sergeants face. Very cool stuff! Just clean up those bases! LOL.
Let me say this first: They are wonderful. As tabletop minis they are absolutely fantastic, I love them, and you should be justifiably proud
BUT: I know you can do better than this on "TT quality" minis, and in these (large, close up) photos I can see all the little bits that I would be happy to ignore on the table...
The big 'disapointment' for me is the blacks. The techniques you've used for blacks were a real inspiration to me, and to see you drop them for (IMO less interesting and effective) 'extreme' highlighting is a bit of a poor show.
Of course, I'm being hugely pedantic about all of this, there are so many good bits about them that I don't know where to begin.
The freehand is generally very nice (especially on the greaves), the red still looks amazing, the stone effect is lovely... I could go on, but I won't.
Keep up the good work buddy, but let's try not to let the standard drop, eh

Very well painted miniatures. Your Sergeant's detail is particularily well done (head & sword).

Nice work.I like the terminator sgt, nice job with the face and the sword. Also like the terminator cruxes and the blood angel symbol on the shoulder pad.
If i'm honest, i'm not overly keen on them. But they'll do, i'm only goning to game with these guys, i'm not selling them or entering them in to a comp. So its cool.
Any thoughts on how you would have tackled the situation?
I don't know I think all I would change is maybe put some fine sand over the areas where you just painted the base itself. I don't know if the blood works or not - the pictures don't really show the blood at the best angles... Everything else looks fine. Just a small change...
