Welcome to Librarium Online!
Hiya! I just finished up my small squad of daemonettes and was hoping for a little input from the multitude of fine painters here I always like trying some new things with my modelling and painting and seeing how it turns out, and I think these came out pretty well. But! There is always room for improvement! So please, give me your comments, what you like, what you don't. Any questions about how I did something, or ideas for things to try on the next go around.

There's a duplicate model of Daemonette 1, hence only 5 individual pic sets for the 6 girl squad. I often game in places where little kids are welcome so I gave the girls a little bit of a "modesty" conversion, as I'm sure you've noticed. So let me know what you think!
Not too bad. As a squad they look really good and i love your bases. I think that just overall they need a little bit a tidying up. Some the the highlighting looks a little bit messy, but GOOD JOB!
DOWN WITH THE FALSE EMPEROR!!!MAY HIS GALAXY BURN!!!
I'm not a fan of the shiny stuff, but that's personal preference.
I love the halter tops you've given them! Fantastic.
I must agree with the highlighting.. you can paint better. If you then gloss the painted highlights it looks pretty cool.
Maybe a little more shading also?
It's far better than i can do though. So kudos. I love their out fits.
But why make them ginger??!?!!? AAIEIE
Good looking girls. The bases are especially well done.
Spambot kill tally. . .337
heh, it's kinda funny, every time I show some of my chaos models the one comment I always get, no matter where it is, is people liking the bases Guess I got that part right anyway
Thanks for the input folks, keep it up!
Curious about the highlighting: Could you give me some examples of how I could tidy it up?
The shiney hair was an experiment, and it's kinda growing on me. The extra gloss finish to the gold and eyes was planned from the start though. Helps make 'em pop more to me.
The idea of putting the gloss varnish on highlight areas is kinda neat too. I may have to give that a try and see how that work out Probably reserve it for metallic or other shiney spots though.
Oh, and they're ginger because the army's core color scheme is black, red, and gold. Plus the Lt's already got bright red hair and they're linked in the army fluff.
I really need to find a better ink / wash then just straight Red Ink. It works fine for the Blood Red hair, but doesn't seem to be doing as well as it could on the Gore Red cloth. :/ Anyone know a good color to use for that?
I am really happy with how the Chesnut Ink worked on the Shining Gold though, that came out pretty well, I think.
Gloss looks better in real life than in photos because you can see the light reflect and stuff.
This is my ZOANTHROPE. what i did was highlight him manually with paints and brushes and stuff, then glossed him. With your superior painting skills, i think it's look great on the daemonettes.
As for shading.. i think just making more tones might be the key. There's no reason why can't mix inks with paints and stuff to get the right shade.
