I'm making a group of Deathwatch and i'm in need of the exact color shema, as i'm having trouble identifying the exact colors. i'm working with this reference.
Deathwatch Kill Team
For the Aquila and the left arm i think it's silver and not boltgun metal. but i'm not sure. it might be a light grey, but i can't really tell .
What are the highlights done with?
The gun is red gore? or a little bit brighter.
Any help is appriciated.

Sadly I can't find the article I was looking for and the GW search function isn't working
Hopefully this helps but I'm sure others can give more detailed info.
I had a crazy idea of building a Deathwatch crew, myself. It LOOKS like you use a similar scheme for the Aquila and left arm as the codex GKs, which is a basecoat of boltgun, highlight of mithril silver. You could do a mid-range highlight of chainmail too, if you're feeling ambitious, and the GKs finish off with a blue ink wash, but I can't tell from the pics if that's what they do for Deathwatch. Same deal for the rim of the right shoulder pad, but the shoulder itself is, of course, done up to match the chapter that particular marine came from (such as the Ultramarines "U" symbol, yellow with the black fist decal for Imperial Fists, etc.)
Otherwise, paint them like Black Templars, I'm guessing. Yeah, I'd say red on the weapon casing. Maybe start with red gore, highlight with blood red, or do blood red with a mix of that and blaze orange highlight? Dunno. That's my best guess.
Hope that helps.
The Deathwatch Colour Scheme is as follows:
Main Armour: Black. If you can try to keep the highlights sharp and crisp, to mimic freshly painted and well maintained surfaces.
Left Arm / Shoulder Guard: Silver (either Chainmail or Mithril Silver, I'd undercoat with Black, then drybrush Boltgun and use the lightest for your highlight/smoothing layer.)
Right Shoulder Guard: pretty much any and every loyal marine chapter you'd like.
Eyes: Technically these should be varied, as I doubt that a marine would have his optics replaced when he joined the DW, and various chapters are shown as having different coloured optics. However, If you only want one colour, I'd do red.
Weapons: A lot of people paint the weapon bodies for the DW in Red, I personally have a problem with any weapon being 'painted' unless you're orks... I prefer to do a standard boltgun weapon like normal, but give it a 'blue steel' look or even a gold wash to make them look as if they are especially well cared for.
