Here is some pictures from a local competition at my home town. I panted up the wave serpent that finish third place. Its a quite small town we have about 100.000 citizens, but there are some good painters here. The second place in the "open" category is a full greenstuffs sculpture.
Some of you know that I was starting on this wave serpent in January or something like that, but I have not been painting on it that often. Its not quite finish jet, I need to build a base and I finish it in a rush, just one hoer before the competition ended. Hope you like it and the other models as well
Absolutely stunning mate.
Very very *very* nice.
I'm astounded you didn't win, but then the NMM on the woman with the sword is pretty fantastic. The ork is bloomin' lovely aswell.
Argh, to have such talent in a local area...!

By the way. The space ork "Runtmaster" is painted by a guy that finish third place in last GD in England. He painted Frodo.
Edit: Yes the NMM is really good and the fact that the model is scratched built put a little extra in to it as well

Wow! I agree with Minus_T here, that is pretty much stunning. The amount of work you've put into that is shocking and it really does show. And lucky you for having all that talent there.. congratulations on the third prize and the other two are so very good as well! The NMM is very good, better than many I've seen. Quite subtle but also rather convincing I think.
Fantastic work dude. Well done!!
Diabolus fecit, ut id facerem!
Well Iím happy with third place, I think it was fair. Still we only had one judge and he had a hard time comparing the different styles form the painters... its quite a big different to compare a vehicle whit a little scratchebult girl But is was mostly a competition just for fun any way.
Also that I didnít have a base put the over all impression down a bit.

I really liked "Svens" Ork, its really well painted, although it donít *pop* as much as the winner.
PS: Yes Iím from umeŚ.
Congrats on the 3rd place.
Lovely, I really like the engines!
It's so.........stunning. I can't think of a better adjective, but it's better that any I can think of.

Excellent work. Very vibrant and clean. I would like to 2nd the engines. Some of the coolest looking engines I have ever seen. Mind telling us a bit how you did them? Too bad you didn't take first it is truly a worthy competitor. I don't much care for Eldar but this looks awesome!
