    IG Color Scheme

I am planning on making a mostly footslogging imp guard army, with 2 russes(and some more not troop stuff up to 1850)

--Okay here are my ideas, one is in another thread but I dont have an airbrush so screw that.
-shadow grey armor and helmet with kommando khaki clothes
-shadow grey armor and helmet with graveyard earth clothes
-shadow grey armor and helmet with codex grey clothes

--I want an urban type theme so do you think these look urban enough while still having a dirty theme but looking good?

--Can you think of anyother urban scheme that would look good?

(think I may take one of GWs but I have no fortress grey)

If you like a earthen dirt color them perhaps graveyard earth would be best. Kommando khaki is alittle bright and clean not so much of a dirty color. While the codex grey with the slight bluish tone of the shadow grey. I'd think that would look quite well.

Slight wear and tear. Drybrush lightly?

Do you have a camo scheme in mind?

I am a big fan of the combination of Shadow Grey and Graveyard Earth, so I'm going to reccommend those two.
I'm sure I have a mini somewhere around here that uses that scheme, but I can't find it at the moment, it's in a box in the wardrobe.....

    Chaos black for weapon

I painted my urban theme tank like that. I didn't think it looked quite right on a trooper.

I painted mine codex grey clouths and chaos black armour(helmet, armour, shoulder pads, armour on the boot, ect). I made a kix of codex grey then dab spots of fortress grey onto areas randomly.
But I would say the first one or the last one.I jsut can't picture the second one working out too well. But thats just me.

Alright took a couple of days. Here's my scheme. First time posting lets see if I know how to do this right.

Yep theres a few conversions. From this view you can see the main guns. I use them as a autocannon or multilaser. I salvaged the bits from an old tank of my childhood. Some of the others are the HKM on the roof with an armoured crew compartment. And extra bits to fill in the gaps.

Now I know I made this Sentinel with a armoured crew compartment in mind. *didn't want to pain the interior* But I can't for the death of me figure out why I glued in the pilot anyway.

The conversion for the back was actually the piece that held the two main guns to my toy tank. It looks like it blends with the lasgun bits. Originally I was going to paint them like plasma powerpacks or something. But decided not to.

Not very many conversions on this one. Just the smoke stack and the ladder leading up between them. I haven't highlighted the tank yet. But I'll figure out the best way to do it soon.

Same tank. But my flash turned on once more. Turning the codex grey to ice blue. Sorry.

Ok lets try this again. That just made me feel really stupid.

This is my demo charge trooper. After trying a hundred friggin times to get it right. Is shows my color scheme pretty well.
