Looking good. Got any gloss varnish around? Try painting some on where the blood splatters are... should make the red a deeper blood red, and also look wet.

i think they look great, only thing i dislike is the purity seals, theyre too bright. Try looking up techniques from shading from a brown to bleahed bone. Other than that. Great work!

    1. I painted those a while ago, and wasn't too good with parchment.

    2.Lol, yes they are dusty.

3.That's strange, about the blood...I put testor's plastic modeling glue on the blood areas, and they where shinny (my little technique), guess it wears off. And no, i don't have and gloss varnish, but i'll go to my rogue trader (No gamesworkshops in my entire territory!), and order some.

    Thanks for the comments guys!

There's no need to order a tiny $4 paint-pot of GW gloss varnish, you can buy giant 8oz bottles of the stuff at walmart for like $2 or less. Any craft/hobby store should carry it.

A hardware store might have it. Just look for the words Acrylic Varnish... perhaps 'Gloss Varnish' with somewhere noting that it's acrylic...
