i was going to have 2 obliterators in my black legion, but i hate the GW one.
so i got thinking, why not come up with a cool conversion.
heres my idea: half marine - half tank.
the lower half of the model will have a tracked(tank like) lower torso. i plan to use the tracked mini vehical bit from the ork wartrak.
then i plan to attach a terminator torso onto it and instead of giving the terminator torso arms, it will have some crazy guns for arms: although what guns to use still eludes me.
any and all sugestions for ideas and improvements are welcomed
That is not dead which may eternal lie,
for in strange aeons even death may die.
My conversion plan is simple, but I think it'll look nice:
Predominantly the plastic Terminator model. Using wire and green stuff, make an elongated neck, in whatever way you want, and attach the Termie head to the end of that. Then, using plenty of green stuff and weapon bits, put weapons literally anywhere you want, though the arms are a great place. Torso, too. Use GS to add any other details you want, and voila. Instant, unique, Obliterator.
That's my plan, and I'll post pics whenever I get around to it.
Got a "good" rumour from a GW staffer? Forget about it, LO'ers know more than any random GW shop staffer.

Hmm... When You said You wanted to make him half tank, and need some small tracks, the small Cyclops demolition veichle (or so I think it's called), from FW came to mind...
Just a suggestion, altough I don't know how big/small the Cyclops really are...
Currently painting the Waaagh! of Warboss Borboss - Goff and Evil Sunz warband
hmmm You'd have to use a lot of icons, and spikes and such to generally make it look more Chaotic...
I really dig that converted ogre. I may have to try to get ahold of a few ogre bodies to use for some conversions of my own.
