An odd request, but I figured this was the right forum for it.
I like doing the occasional non-helmeted marine sergeant or Indep Char. Unfortunately, all of the SM 'non-helmetted' heads seem to have a lot of metal junk hanging off of them, grills, circuits, bionic eyes, and so on. While I appreciate they make a given marine look 'harder' and such. I would like to have a Captain who didn't appear to have lost a fight with his local Radio Shack. As a small side note, the fact they all seem to universally be bald (presumably for better helmet connections from a fluffy angle) has also bugged me a bit.
Can anyone suggest a cheap source for different heads?
IG Sprues? Eldar?
Check out the space wolves sprues, plenty of hairy, bare heads there.

I like to use the Guardsman Sergeant heads from the Shock Trooper Cadian box.
I've used them three times. They have just enough hair on their heads and the face is suitably bulky, great stuff. Make sure you put something under it, so that the head sticks out of the armour. Otherwise, the marine looks like he's too short for the armour.
Give it a try.
You could try looking at the Warhammer Fantasy armies. Im not too sure if there are any without some form of weird Medievil style hat, but you could always look.
There's one guy who's name I forgotten, on a site dedicated to the Dark Angels - this name has also fallen from my memory, who uses heads from the Bretonnia Archers for his models. They do indeed look awsome and adds a lot of the "monkish" feeling.
The site could be called "the Fallen" or something similar.
