I enjoy playing the psycher with the honorifica and force if nothing else for the variety. However, it seemed as though having one of the little dudes with the laspistols and headaches was a poor representation of one of the only cool close combat options we get from the codex. Anyway, i decided to convert a version that, while less practical, was hell and gone more interesting. Hope you like her. She is painted to match my version of the figures from the Tanith Ghosts box.
Great model, you really did a nice job on her. She kind of reminds me of major Cerk from the gaunts ghosts book traitor general.

I'm gonna stick this in the conversion forum. Thankfully, people in the Guard section will still see it, and will be able to follow the link to the thread.
it looks mad great model and i love the spear that must have taken a long time to make. awsome!

Nice mini dude. Good job.
Did you use a base mini, or was a copious amount of Green Stuff used?
It's a nice convertion and paint job, but she doesn't really fit in the 40k universe imo.
She looks very high-fantasy-esque, which really doesn't do it for me in a universe filled with pain and suffering.
But as long as you're happy with her, then cool, each to thier own

While part of me agrees with Minus_T, and I do think the pathetic looking 'dude.. where's my brain' psykers do bring home the darkness of the 40k universe, I can see if you're having a force weapon and honorifica imperialis you'd want a psyker to look a bit more together.
Really great conversion.. Dare I ask, how did you do it?
Well, the basic sculpt comes from SJB a guy I found on Cool Minin Or Not who sells this one figure through their shop. It was a little pricey but well worth it. Originally she had a bigger weapon and a less clothing (yeah really). The pants and shirt are greenstuff as is most of the base save a shoulderpad, backpack, and a chaos helm.
In response to Minus_T, honestly I have to agree. She was sculpted for fantasy and she might not have made the full transition. I couldn't quite get the whole 40k feel into her. I was hoping to equip her with a las pistol for WYSIWYG but I don't have any appropriate bits and I am not that proficient at moding firearms. I thought about decking her our with more purity seals to denote the whole psycher thing but I wasn't having too much luck sculpting them initially. Fortunately I painted her in the scheme of some of my other guardsmen which should help her fit in a bit more.
Might i suggest a templar pistol in holster
bout the right size
ive used em for guard
+ templar purity seal on it
