Welcome to Librarium Online!
Ok, Ive finally finished my dire avenger test model.
My entire army is going to be in these colours with the exeption of the head and shoulder pads which will be in the aspects original colours. So for the dire avengers, its white! Bloody white! I hate white! It cracks, it shows blebs, it never goes on smooth, it soaks up dirt from the very air! Still, I think it was worth it!
Any advice welcomed as always before i varnish and apply transfers!
Nice quality painting, but do be wary about using too many different colours and creating a messy composition... I personally think the red on the forearm and leg straps clashes a bit too much with the rest of the model - good on small gems to make them stand out, but the straps are large enough for the bright red to clash with the overall muted green and blue scheme.
And yeah, gotta love white. One squad of white sisters was all it took to convince me that a black undercoat for white figures is something I'm *never* doing again :D
great paint job looking good. just wondering you say you will be applying transfers but where will they go ive never seen a eldar model with transfers besides a tank

Me likely alot, i think i'll steal that gold bit on the top of the helmet, except silver instead. Nice model man.
The transfer is going to be on the center of the helm. I might not bother with this tho as it'll probably look too much.
I hear what your saying about the red, but I tried them in blue and they didnt work, I think the red breaks up the colours well and adds a bit of variation to an otherwise dark model. Thanks for the advice tho, ill keep it in mind when I start designing my dragons.
WOW! that model look excellent! I'm so jealous because I just finished my Dire Avengers, and the exarch doesn't even have a fraction as well done as yours. Great Job, I really like the white highlights on the upper armor/helm and highlights on the cloth.
