I have used the search function to try and answer this question, but I am not finding any information which helps me. I am painting a Khorne army, and I am now working on the highlighting, and my question is this, what color should I use to highlight black? Black is my main color while gore red is my accent color. If anyone can give me their opinion that would be great! Thanks and good gaming!
i use codex grey to highlight black. Obviously you can lighten on darken it if you want a less/more extreme highlight with black and white respectively

Yeah. Codex grey is what you highlight black with mainly.
I would mix the darkest grey you have with the black and go slowly until you are satisfied. Each level of highlight you can mix a little more grey. If you go too light you can always tint it darker with black ink.
If you are going high contrast you can use a lighter grey but paint with the side of the brush on the edges of the black to get a crisper line.

Mixing some regal blue to the codex grey black mix will give it a little more bluish shine. If you're combining it with red, consider adding some dark brown, to give it little redish shine and it will blend great with the red gore.
