Still looks a bit dark. Try to get the light really close to the model 15-20 cm. Its gets better if you have a daylight globe or something like that, but It can be ok with a normal 60W as well.
Still from what I can see the face looks a bit flat, maybe use some more shade? Its hard to see what the metal looks like on the picture, but have you used any ink/wash/glaze at all? It almost looks like you have just drybrused black with silver...
Cool that you have painted some free hands on the scroll. Still its holds a nice table top standard, and a army whit this standard may look quite good.
Keep the paint diluted and thin :)

I'm basing him now. I'll post pics when I'm done. I decided to give him a 40mm base to give myself more room to work with.
Looks good, I like the base. Kind of goes with him, what arm is that on the base? Looks like its from chaos. Also, it may just be me but the face seems "plain" in a way. What did you use for as flesh color? Other then my nit picks he looks pretty good.
