I want to convert something suitable for "death masks" for my blood angel chaplains but not the usual skull masks. Just something evil/intimidating looking. Any ideas

Perhaps you could use animal skulls or animal faces - something like that. Alternatively you could do an Egyptian style death mask; just a emotionless mask of a face, and then paint it a bone colour. Something similar to what Dante the BA chapter master has.
What models have these bits? I'm not a green-stuff god. Are there any models you can think of that have masks/heads like those?
You could always buy Dante and cut his head off and use that. There are a few GW alternatives.
- The Morheim pit fighters - one of them has a mask Pit Fighter Warband
- The Empire Balthasar Gelt head (again you'll have to cut it off the model) Balthasar Gelt
Also, Rackham have a few things. These are not quite what I mean but are similar and provide alternatives from the GW stuff.
- Griffin Inquisitor 2
- Griffin Thallions
- Shanys the Shadow
- Exécuteurs du Griffon
Hope these help mate,
If you wanna do the Egyptian mask this girl should be what you're looking for. IMO the other Tomb King masks are great as well, but that's the only one that covers the face, not only the rest of the head.

old or new banshee heads ?
You could use noise marine heads, or fantasy chaos helmets.
