His cloak is really nice. I like it.
As for the silver bits.. i think that a wash of a light blue would really set it off. It would give it some definition and make it a cool colour.
Also it'll say I  you better.
I AM THE MASTER OF LOVE.
Just as long as the model doesn't speak like the bonesingers from DoW.
Still.. it's a cool gesture. I have a friend who converted some stuff for his girlfriend once..except instead of something nice it was Pyramid Head from Silent Hill 2. Hahahah.

I have to agree on the cloak, I think the colour works really well. I've just noticed the gems as well. Thats some nice detailed painting there and overall its very good for a 6 hour job, although maybe I just paint slow...

Send me a hello if you remember me.
The silver metallics are pretty plain and boring sitting next to all that wonderful (and i mean AMAZING) cloth and gems. The colors on the cloak are superb, excellent job my friend...though aside from the metallics the eyes kinda stuck out at me as plain. I would do something with them.

I agree, the cloak is awesome, its just the silver seems a bit plain.
Thanks for the comments guys. I agree about he metallics. The gold looks far too brassy, i did it with a copper paint and went over that in vallejo gold ink, im going to practice a bit more with that. And looking back on it now the silver parts would have been better off as ice blue.
What would you do to the silver to improve it? Also, the wraithbone. Does anyone have any suggestions on improving that?
i would highlight the gold with mithril silver or something and yah a thinned out blue wash would work magic on the silver, as for the wraithbone i would give it a brown basecoat and continually highlight it up to a bonish colour and then a final small highlight of white
Nice one Macewind!
Only a few things I could see to touch it up:
Maybe a brown/chesnut wash would give the gold some definition, then a mix of a bit of mithril silver+shining gold would just bring up the edges nicely.
The cloak could do with one final highlight just on the highest points of the folds of cloth. Just vertically down the fabric.
I like Karmoon's idea of the blue wash on the silver too. It would look nice and different (Eldar style)!
Great job though
But I call to God, and the LORD saves me.
For that silver if you still want to work on it, is to highlight it. Use silver paint on the edges of the metal areas to get the silver a little stronger there. You could for the wraithbone try to make the colour changes gradual,
Use a slightly darker version of the bone colour you have used and apply it watered down on the lower areas of the wraithbone. Gradually weaken it so it becomes softer toward the top and you will get an effect like it is darker at the bottom and lighter at the top.
