Since I'm still waiting for my bits for Necromunda  I decided to build some small terrain pieces as obstacles, markers, etc. Here are my Ratskin Ruins (very WiP), somehow based on WHFB Lizardmen and Native South Americans. The base will be made of dark grey rubble. Some got a black coat, others are still only painted with an invisble base coat. This coat makes the sand stay were it is (hopefully forever) and gives me the posiblity to paint the pieces with water based colours.
The pillars also got the base coat and some layers of brown. I will build them up to a kind of sandstone.
I'm working on some more stuff, for example crystals, tunnel entrances and buildings. Some pics of these and some more of the ruins will be posted when there's any mentionable progress.
C&C is welcomed!
Pillars with signs of snakes, rats, magic and some kind of map.
An altar for getting rid of Hivers...
Another pillar design
Who destroyed that one? In addition to the ruined pillar another smaller one.

They look good mate, drawing nicely from the American-Indian feel of the Ratskins. I think they will end up making great Necromunda terrain pieces. One suggestion would be to add Underhive-like things to them like broken girders, crumbling pipelines and that sort of thing, just to indicate theat they are in the Underhive. Look forward to seeing pictures of these painted.
